Pitot Static System install using the SafeAir1 Kit

Pitot Static port installed with two AN3 rivets and RTV

Andair Valve installed with nutplates and handle

AN Fittings cut to 45 Degrees with the bandsaw - turned out pretty good.

Holes drilled and Grommet / Fittings for 3/8" Fuel line and 1/4" Fuel Vent Line

AN Fittings installed on the inside of the cockpit

ELT Mount with edges cut for Rudder Cable

Strobe mount installed with edges cut for the rudder cable -

Brake Reservoir Drilled and bolted to firewall

Bending the Fuel Vent lines

Bent and installed 3/8" Fuel Lines -

View without the covers - note i used the upper larger holes, but may end up reworking it per the plans...

Installed the plastic brake lines (temporarily) to get the lengths and fittings right.

 

Fitting the crotch strap seatbelt kit

1/8" spacing for Crow / Van's style sub-belt

Using the template to cut out the tailwheel "mouse hole"

Hole cut - just needs to be smoothed with the dremel sanding drum...

Finalized Pitot Static tubing run under the baggage floor.

Installed forward top skin for the first time

Lots of drilling, deburing, and dimpling later...

Making the holes for the NACA fresh air vents

Vents drilled to the fuse

Vents prosealed and riveted on permanently

Vent from the inside - not the #4 washers as backing plates for the MK-319BS Rivets - worked perfectly.

 

Tailwheel mount drilled and installed to the rear bulkheads

Rear bulkhead riveted and reprimed - came out very well.

Making the splice plates for the Rollbar

Initial measurement and assembly of the rollbar

Attached the forward pieces and drilled

Primed the insides of the rollbar

 

Finished product - One 99% straight rollbar (it rises 2/32 off the table on one side) - good enough for me.

Installed temporarily on the fuselage
